Isaiah 25:4-5 (NLT)
But you are a tower of refuge to the poor, O Lord,
a tower of refuge to the needy in distress.
You are a refuge from the storm
and a shelter from the heat.
For the oppressive acts of ruthless people
are like a storm beating against a wall,
or like the relentless heat of the desert.
But you silence the roar of foreign nations.
As the shade of a cloud cools relentless heat,
so the boastful songs of ruthless people are stilled.
Our Father in heaven,
We proclaim Your holy name over the Promised Land. We proclaim the name of Your Son, the man whose name is the Branch: for He shall branch out from His place, and He shall build the temple of the Lord. It is He who shall build the temple of the Lord and shall bear royal honor, and shall sit and rule on His throne.
Under the Branch is refuge from the storm and shelter from the heat. He who said, ‘Peace, be still’ to the storm is the same yesterday, today, and forever. We proclaim the name Jesus over the Promised Land. Amen.
