From the Lectionary for 2015 11 16

Matthew 17:5 (NKJV)
While he was still speaking, behold, a bright cloud overshadowed them; and suddenly a voice came out of the cloud, saying, “This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased. Hear Him!”
Father, please help us by your Holy Spirit to hear what Jesus is saying to us.

Matthew 17:10-13 (NKJV)
And His disciples asked Him, saying, “Why then do the scribes say that Elijah must come first?” Jesus answered and said to them, “Indeed, Elijah is coming first and will restore all things. But I say to you that Elijah has come already, and they did not know him but did to him whatever they wished. Likewise the Son of Man is also about to suffer at their hands.” Then the disciples understood that He spoke to them of John the Baptist.
Jesus, thank you for John the Baptist and all those witnesses who were faithful to the death in their testimony about you.

Revelation 20:15 (NKJV)
And anyone not found written in the Book of Life was cast into the lake of fire.
Lord, I pray that my name will be written in the Book of Life.

Habakkuk 2:1 (NKJV)
I will stand my watch and set myself on the rampart, and watch to see what He will say to me, and what I will answer when I am corrected.
Holy Spirit, as I stand watch, please correct me.

Habakkuk 2:4 (NKJV)
“Behold the proud, his soul is not upright in him; but the just shall live by his faith.
Father, help us to live by faith in Jesus.

Psalm 89:1 (NKJV)
I will sing of the mercies of the LORD forever; with my mouth will I make known Your faithfulness to all generations.
Holy Spirit, with my mouth help me to make Jesus’ faithfulness known to the next generation. Thank you.

Word: Blow the trumpets in Zion: proclaim my salvation. Let the people rejoice in me. Let them say, “God has done what we could not!”
