From the Lectionary for 2015 11 28

Matthew 20:30 (NKJV)
And behold, two blind men sitting by the road, when they heard that Jesus was passing by, cried out, saying, “Have mercy on us, O Lord, Son of David!”
O Lord, Son of David, have mercy on the physically blind and the spiritually blind in our generation. Open their eyes that they may see.

1 Peter 4:7-8 (NKJV)
But the end of all things is at hand; therefore be serious and watchful in your prayers. And above all things have fervent love for one another, for “love will cover a multitude of sins.”
Holy Spirit, give us watchful prayers and fervent prayers of one another.

Micah 7:18-20 (NKJV)
Who is a God like You, pardoning iniquity and passing over the transgression of the remnant of His heritage? He does not retain His anger forever, because He delights in mercy. He will again have compassion on us, and will subdue our iniquities. You will cast all our sins into the depths of the sea. You will give truth to Jacob and mercy to Abraham, which You have sworn to our fathers from days of old.
Father, thank you for pardoning our iniquity, for not retaining your righteous anger against us, for having compassion on us, and giving us your truth in the Scriptures and by your Holy Spirit.

Psalm 137:4 (NKJV)
How shall we sing the LORD’S song In a foreign land?
Jesus, how shall we sing your songs in a strange land?

Psalm 144:1 (NKJV)
Blessed be the LORD my Rock, who trains my hands for war, and my fingers for battle–
LORD, train my hands for the battles ahead.

Psalm 144:15 (NKJV)
Happy are the people who are in such a state; Happy are the people whose God is the LORD!
Help me to know and pursue this happiness, LORD God.

Word: Have not fear of old age — I AM still with you.

Thank you!
