From the Lectionary for 2015 12 11

Matthew 23:27 (NKJV)
“Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites [actors]! For you are like whitewashed tombs which indeed appear beautiful outwardly, but inside are full of dead men’s bones and all uncleanness.”
Lord, preserve me from merely acting the part of a follower of the Way without the inward content of a changed heart.

Matthew 23:37 (NKJV)
“O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, the one who kills the prophets and stones those who are sent to her! How often I wanted to gather your children together, as a hen gathers her chicks under her wings, but you were not willing!”
Jesus, please help us abide under the shelter of your wings.

Revelation 2:26 (NKJV)
“And he who overcomes, and keeps My works until the end, to him I will give power over the nations”
Holy Spirit, help me overcome and keep the works of Jesus in my heart.

Haggai 1:2 (NKJV)
“Thus speaks the LORD of hosts, saying: ‘This people says, “The time has not come, the time that the LORD’S house should be built.” ‘ ”
Jesus, help us rebuild your church and not be distracted by self-centered concerns.

Haggai 1:8-11 (NKJV)
Go up to the mountains and bring wood and build the temple, that I may take pleasure in it and be glorified,” says the LORD. “You looked for much, but indeed it came to little; and when you brought it home, I blew it away. Why?” says the LORD of hosts. “Because of My house that is in ruins, while every one of you runs to his own house. Therefore the heavens above you withhold the dew, and the earth withholds its fruit. For I called for a drought on the land and the mountains, on the grain and the new wine and the oil, on whatever the ground brings forth, on men and livestock, and on all the labor of your hands.”
Holy Spirit, help me set aside selfish concerns and labor for what will endure in your kingdom.

Psalm 35:23 (NKJV)
Stir up Yourself, and awake to my vindication, To my cause, my God and my Lord.
Jesus, be Lord of my tongue — help me praise and worship you daily.

Word: Look to me for unfailing righteousness — I will not disappoint you.
