Luke 3:16 (NKJV)
John answered, saying to all, “I indeed baptize you with water; but One mightier than I is coming, whose sandal strap I am not worthy to loose. He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire.
Jesus, baptize me anew with your Holy Spirit and fire.

Acts 10:34-35 (NKJV)
Then Peter opened his mouth and said: “In truth I perceive that God shows no partiality. But in every nation whoever fears Him and works righteousness is accepted by Him.
LORD, we live in a time when showing partiality is “the name of the game.” Have mercy on us and lead us into works of righteousness so that we may be acceptable to you.

Isaiah 42:1 (NKJV)
“Behold! My Servant whom I uphold, My Elect One in whom My soul delights! I have put My Spirit upon Him; He will bring forth justice to the Gentiles.
Jesus, bring forth justice in our land.

Isaiah 42:6 (NKJV)
“I, the LORD, have called You in righteousness, and will hold Your hand; I will keep You and give You as a covenant to the people, as a light to the Gentiles,”
Jesus, hold my hand and lead me.

Isaiah 42:7 (NKJV)
“To open blind eyes, to bring out prisoners from the prison, those who sit in darkness from the prison house.”
Lord, give sight to the blind (both physically and spiritually blind) and lead prisoners forth to freedom in you.

Psalm 89:1 (NKJV)
I will sing of the mercies of the LORD forever; With my mouth will I make known Your faithfulness to all generations.
Father, please help me sing of your mercies and make known your faithfulness.

Psalm 89:9 (NKJV)
You rule the raging of the sea; when its waves rise, You still them.
Jesus, speak your words, “Peace, be still,” to the raging seas around us.

Psalm 89:15 (NKJV)
Blessed are the people who know the joyful sound! They walk, O LORD, in the light of Your countenance.
Holy Spirit, help me know the joyful sound and walk in the light of Jesus’ countenance.

Word: Walk in my ways.

I have handed over the prayer table ministry on Saturday mornings to Deacon Larry Hubert who originally started it at Christ Church. At 77 I did not feel up to sitting out in the cold and snow for another winter. I will continue doing the Schenectady City Mission prayer table on Thursdays (which is inside). Also, I want to visit my family more.
