John 1:29 (NKJV)
The next day John saw Jesus coming toward him, and said, “Behold! The Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world!”
Jesus, thank you for taking away my sin.

John 1:39 (NKJV)
He said to them, “Come and see.” They came and saw where He was staying, and remained with Him that day (now it was about the tenth hour).
Holy Spirit, help me answer Jesus’ invitation to “Come and see.”

Hebrews 2:18 (NKJV)
For in that He Himself has suffered, being tempted, He is able to aid those who are tempted.
Jesus, thank you for helping us when we are tempted.

Genesis 4:7 (NKJV)
If you do well, will you not be accepted? And if you do not do well, sin lies at the door. And its desire is for you, but you should rule over it.”
Father, please help me rule over the sin which stalks me.

Psalm 12:1-2 (NKJV)
Help, LORD, for the godly man ceases! For the faithful disappear from among the sons of men. They speak idly everyone with his neighbor; with flattering lips and a double heart they speak.
LORD, transform the political campaign and rhetoric.

Psalm 12:6 (NKJV)
The words of the LORD are pure words, like silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times.
      LORD, purify my words.

Psalm 14:4 (NKJV)
Have all the workers of iniquity no knowledge, who eat up my people as they eat bread, and do not call on the LORD?
Holy Spirit, move the hearts of the rich and powerful in the land who eat up your people like bread.

Word: Pray that my people will place their confidence and hope in me and not in lotteries.
