John 4:10 (NKJV)
Jesus answered and said to her, “If you knew the gift of God, and who it is who says to you, ‘Give Me a drink,’ you would have asked Him, and He would have given you living water.”
Jesus, help me know the “gift of God” and who you are and the “living water” you promise.
John 4:12-14 (NKJV)
Are You greater than our father Jacob, who gave us the well, and drank from it himself, as well as his sons and his livestock?” Jesus answered and said to her, “Whoever drinks of this water will thirst again, but whoever drinks of the water that I shall give him will never thirst. But the water that I shall give him will become in him a fountain of water springing up into everlasting life.”
Well up, O Fountain, and bring me to everlasting life.
Hebrews 6:18 (NKJV)
that by two immutable things, in which it is impossible for God to lie, we might have strong consolation, who have fled for refuge to lay hold of the hope set before us.
Jesus, I ask for the consolation that comes from fleeing to you, and to lay hold of the hope set before me.
Hebrews 6:19 (NKJV)
This hope we have as an anchor of the soul, both sure and steadfast, and which enters the Presence behind the veil,
Holy Spirit, anchor my soul with hope in Jesus.
Genesis 11:7 (NKJV)

Father, thank you for confusing us in our folly in thinking we could reach heaven without your help.
