Father, you alone know the times and seasons which you have under your own authority. While we cannot know ahead of time when you will move, we ask that as you move now we will recognize and respond to what you are doing. (See Acts 1:7)
A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck what is planted; (Ecclesiastes 3:2)
Jesus, please help us live and die in the hope of the resurrection. Help us to plant and to harvest according to your purposes.
A time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up; (Ecclesiastes 3:3)
Jesus, this has been a time of much killing among the nations — we pray for a time of your healing. Much that seemed good has been broken down; help us by your Holy Spirit to build up.
A time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance; (Ecclesiastes 3:4)
Lord, we weep for our nation and your church, restore to us the joy of your salvation.
A time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones; a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing; (Ecclesiastes 3:5)
Holy Spirit, help us daily know what things should be cast aside and what should be embraced.
A time to gain, and a time to lose; a time to keep, and a time to throw away; (Ecclesiastes 3:6)
Father, please help us gain eternal life through your son Jesus and let our sins lose their hold on us. Help us keep what is good and throw out what is bad.
A time to tear, and a time to sew; a time to keep silence, and a time to speak; (Ecclesiastes 3:7)
Holy Spirit, show us when it is time to speak and when it is time to be silent. Help us daily follow your guidance and promptings/
A time to love, and a time to hate; a time of war, and a time of peace. (Ecclesiastes 3:8 )
Jesus, please help us love what you love and hate what you hate. Lord, there is a war going o in your church — bring us to your peace. Thank you.

Subject: The Queen’s luncheon….
Dateline: London, Ref: Queens jubilee luncheon, Tuesday 5th June.
I have just had an update from my sister Julie Sheldon about my brother in law Tom Sheldon. They have just returned from Westminster Hall (under Big Ben in the houses of parliament, where heads of state lie in state) where the Queens luncheon will take place.
At 9.15am GMT ( -5 EST) Tuesday, the BBC will interview Tom. He has spent some of the day with Black Rod.
Tom will meet and welcome the Queen at the entrance of the houses of Parliament as she arrives in the gold coronation coach. Before lunch starts he will give the speech. After the speech Tom will be sitting next to the Queen for lunch with seven hundred people. Thirty five TV stations will be broadcasting live. Toms speech will be at 12.45 GMT (7.45am EST). The idea for the luncheon came from the Queen to thank those in the top twelve great livery companies of London for there volunteer work. Tom is the senior master mercer of worshipful livery companies. Hope you might see this on US TV, if you are in the UK do watch the Telly!
