STUDY GUIDE: SUNDAY SCHOOL LESSON 27, April 22, 2012

Theme Verse: Consequently, you are no longer foreigners and aliens, but fellow citizens with God’s people and members of God’s household, built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, with Christ Jesus himself as the chief cornerstone. In him the whole building is joined together and rises to become a holy temple in the Lord. And in him you too are being built together to become a dwelling in which God lives by his Spirit. First Lesson: Acts 4:1-13 [Note especially verses 9-13]

A word received: I want you to be judged on the same basis that Peter and John were. They proclaimed the truth of my death and resurrection and that there is salvation in no other name than mine.

(verse 13) A word received: I want the people in the class to know that they can do what Peter and John did. The same power is available for them as for Peter and John. Note what it says, they were “unschooled*, ordinary men”, but they had spent time with me. I want you to spend time with me as well.
